Jared in his guise as BATTERIE has been busily writing numerous tracks for soon to be released game OTTTD ( Over the top tower destruction )  being produced by some Sydney game developers. The short promo videos help promote the ArtBank collection and feature 20 prominent Australian personalities talking about their favourite contemporary artworks. Underscore music wrote original music cues for production studio Uncanny Valley for the Network 7 reality TV show THE MOLE. The show is currently on air ( July 2013 ). The brief was enjoyable to compose to as it required some action packed epic tracks. Some of the reference material was the music score for Bourne Identity and Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.  

Jared is the Winner of TropScore 2013. TropScore is a competition run by TropFest and APRA where entrants compose music to a 5min film commissioned for the competition.  This year more than 600 composers and musicians entered in the competition. The competition was judged by some well known Australian composers – Francois Tetaz ( Wolf Creek, Gotye ) and Burkhard Dallwitz ( The Truman Show, Underbelly). Jared pe

2012 was busy year of screen music composition study at AFTRS for Jared. To end the year off  armed with lots of inspiration and new knowledge from AFTRS  he collaborated again with director Matt Bird on Matt’s short film TASER. The film has made it the final 16, which marks Jared and Matt’s 3rd consecutive year in the TROPFEST final 16. The film stars Firass Dirani. ( Underbelly )

MIDAS TVC for Australia wide campaign. THe music was composed by Jared of Underscore Music. Midas is a car service centre company. This is a series of new TV commecials starring Russell Gilbert as ‘Mike’, set in a fictious Midas Service Centre.        

Underscore composed numerous cues for use in Fremantle Media TV reality shows ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ on Channel 9 and ‘I Will Survive’ on Channel 10 The shows are currently on air.
