Underscore music offers a unique angle on film music composition due to an obsession for all things rhythmic and percussive and a love of acoustic instruments to tell the story and add the essential human element.
Jared composed the original score for Matt Bird’s short film A Desperate Deed which was accepted into the final for Movie Extra TropFest 2011. Jared won “Best Original Score”.
In 2010 Jared composed the music for Matt Bird’s COLD SORE a 20 minute short film. The film was entered into the Park City Film Music Festival in Utah USA where Jared won The Jury Choice Gold medal for his score.
