Jared is the Winner of TropScore 2013. TropScore is a competition run by TropFest and APRA where entrants compose music to a 5min film commissioned for the competition.  This year more than 600 composers and musicians entered in the competition. Jared composed the original score for Matt Bird’s short film A Desperate Deed which was accepted into the final for Movie Extra TropFest 2011. Jared won “Best Original Score”.

In 2010 Jared composed the music for Matt Bird’s COLD SORE a 20 minute short film. The film was entered into the Park City Film Music Festival in Utah USA where Jared won The Jury Choice Gold medal for his score.
