A skeletal spectacular filled with whispers, screams, delicate melodies and music-box guitar riffs, textural percussion and pounding rhythms, monochromatic projection mapping, costumes and confetti.
Focaleland will present a live audio visual skeletal spectacular at the Australian Museum for the latest series of Jurassic Lounge, on Tuesday 13 September.
Focaleland will take over the Skeleton Room on the lower level of the historical building for the evening.
They will play two live shows on the night – 6:30 and 8:30pm – in which the space will be filled with the transportive vocals, whispers and music-box guitar riffs of Flutter Lyon to be joined by the deliciously textural percussion and wicked electronics of Jared Underwood.
Visionary Sydney interactive designer Lukasz Karluk will projection map his vivid Ink-Pressing inspired graphics onto a glossy white perspex projection disc that will hover above the performers. The graphics glowing in their monochromatic glory all the while evolving in real time in response to the live and improvised sound.
